Sustainable Standards

Piedmont Center is an ENERGY STAR and LEED Gold Certified campus that exceeds the energy performance standards and strives to have less impact on the environment.

Our buildings produce less waste products, utilize energy and water savings to make them more energy efficient and environmentally friendly.   The campus greenspace helps promote wellness and health providing outdoor environments that encourage the human-side of sustainability.

 


Recycling

Piedmont Center participates on a range of recycling programs including single stream waste recycling, electronic recycling, ink cartridge recycling, battery and bulb recycling and more. With 90% of the waste generated in the workplace is recyclable, Piedmont Center has partnered with Livable Buckhead to assist in reduce Piedmont Centers footprint. We strive for 100% participation and are constantly looking into new green initiatives.   Click on Piedmont Center Recycle Program for details.

 


Green Initiative

Piedmont Center's Green Initiative seeks to better equip the workplace with opportunities to contribute to sustainability.  Below are just some ways we do are part to be green.

Relay Bikes - HORP partners with Georgia's own and sponsors 500 bikes throughout Atlanta, and you can get connect at Piedmont Center.  The parking lot in front of Tower 14 is where the Relay Bike stands are available.  Simply download the HOPR app and Unlock & Go!

Copiana - Heard of Urban Farming?  Well Copiana has brought it to the office community.  Our tenants enjoy the benefits of these vertical produce towers and receive the freshest, best tasting and nutritional foods at monthly community harvest, and it's complimentary!
