Smoking Policy

Piedmont Center is a non-smoking complex and smoking is only allowed in the designated areas. The common areas of the building (halls, lobbies, vending areas, breakrooms and restrooms) are designated as non-smoking areas.

• The “Smoking Area” at Tower 15 is located on the Plaza Level of the Parking Deck.
• The “Smoking Area” at The Commons is on the Plaza Level Parking Deck opposite Building’s One and Two.   There are lattice‐work screens at either end, benches, and an ash urn. 
• The “Smoking Area” at TheFountains is located on the 2nd Level of the  Parking Deck.
• The “Smoking Area” at Tower 14 is located in between Tower 14 and The Commons parking decks on the plaza level.

We appreciated your cooperation in utilizing these designated smoking areas for smoking breaks.

Health problems associated with passive smoke require that Property Management discourage smoking anywhere within the building. Heating ventilation and air-conditioning systems in all buildings have a shared air return. The system mixes fresh air with conditioned air and sends it back into tenant space. Although the smoke is somewhat diluted, it can be detected in all areas receiving conditioned air.

Use of any electronic cigarette, electronic vaping device, personal vaporizer (PV), digital vapor device or electronic nicotine delivery system (ENDS) is prohibited in the building or around the entries to the building. Users of these devices should be directed to the designated smoking area.
